Second Deputy Principal Appointed

The St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Catherine Bamber-O’Malley to the position of Deputy Principal Pastoral Care. Catherine joins the college in term one 2023 and arrives with leadership experience in Catholic education spanning 20 years. She is a faith-filled, dedicated, creative and experienced educator, committed and passionate about Catholic education. Catherine has worked for Jesuit Refugee Services in Rome and is experienced with our Ignatian charism. Catherine’s current role is Head of Faculty for Religious Education and Year 13 Dean at Baradene College of the Sacred Heart. Catherine’s capabilities in pastoral care, curriculum and school faith leadership in her current and previous roles, provides confidence that strong pastoral care systems will be developed that promote the care for each and every member of the school community. These systems promoting personal care and growth will enable every student to grow into the fullness of who they were created to be; finding God in all things. In veniendum Deus in omnibus.
